It is Thanksgiving week here in the United States. All over Facebook the trend is to name one thing you’re thankful for each day. That’s pretty cool – it helps build a habit of gratitude. I wanted to capture my list of thanks in one place on my blog instead of Facebook. For me, having this list on my blog puts them in one place instead of having them pass across my timeline. I’ve put together 30, one for each day in November, in today’s post.
I am thankful for the one true living God.
I am thankful for His Son Jesus Christ, given to all so that we may meet Him one day.

I am thankful for my extended family and friends.
I am thankful for my kids’ friends and schools and the positive impact that each has on them.
I am thankful that I have good kids, kids that know right from wrong and who stay out of trouble.
I am thankful for this country that we live in and the freedoms that we enjoy.
I am thankful for the ability to write, to create, and to impact others.
I am thankful for my company and the income and benefits that I receive for my work.
I am thankful for my new career and the opportunity to do something that I love.
I am thankful for our leaders and our military.
I am thankful for our safe home and our belongings that God has entrusted us with.

I am thankful for college football, my favorite television shows, gadgets and technology, good books, podcasts and all of the other things that I enjoy.
I am thankful for everything that has happened in my life, both good and bad, because God has promised that all things work together for good to those who love Him.
I am thankful for blessings too numerous to count.
Wow, those just flew out of my fingers. I could go on all day. Hopefully you get the picture – we have much to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I hope you all enjoy the holiday with your friends and loved ones. I encourage you to write your own list of thanks and share them with those you care the most for.
